Explaining the photos

  I explain Picture 3. You see two old people hugging. I guess this lady was unable to walk recently by desease, so she was forced to stay in hospital. She was alone every day in the hospital, but this old man came to see her as many as he can. Finally, she was able to leave the hospital! This scene is that he congratulate her. I think they have been happy until that time, and they are happy forever. I believe they are good couple. Maybe they often have some arguments, but they make it up at last. I want to be like them in the future!
 Next, I explain about Picture 1. Two people are standing with a board which "Face Book" is written. I guess this picture tells us that Face book is used around the world. In fact, I am planning to register Face Book before I go abroad to study. Social network like Face book is useful and easy to register, so a lot of people use it. If you go abroad, you should register before that.

Something New

     There are many things I want to do, but I have no time! I write about the things I will try to do. First thing I want to do is Drum Mania, which is an arcade game. You can play with them in every amusement arcade. I can play the drums, so I tried to do once before. However, I can't play them very well! I feel very disappointing so I will try to do very well!! Next thing I want to do is playing the guitar on a band. I can't play the guitar so I practice a little. Maybe I should concentrate with the drums, but I want to do both. I want to be a person who can play many kinds of musical instruments!!!!

Travel

   I want to go to Iceland because it is introduced in R1 class. There are some reasons. The first reason is that I want to see northern lights. There are few place that we can see this beautiful phenomenon. Northern lights are too beautiful for me to explain. I have wanted to see that for a long time. Next, town is beautiful there. It's called City of Culture. It's also knowledge I learned in R1 class! I hope to go to the museum, too. Finally, fairies and ghost are seen in Iceland, according to a website. I can't believe that! However, I think it's great to really see fairies. I guess Iceland is dreamy place, so people tell the fairy tales like that. Anyway, I'd like to go Iceland in the future!

Culture

  My favorite Japanese culture is giving tissues or candies or any other things. If people give something, I usually receive one. However, I think it makes no sense because few people see the advertisement in it. At least for me, it's just for using tissues! Another favorite Japanese culture is hanami. In this spring, I enjoyed it so much. I like to see cherry blossoms, and I like having a meal with friends. Next, I want to participate Halloween once. I have never disguised and have wanted to do for a long time, but I never do in Japan because it's too shameful!

My Autumn Plan

               I have no trip in autumn. I don't like to watch autumn leaves because it makes me sentimental. Moreover I think it's already winter. I feel colder and colder. I hope everybody don't catch cold.  Although I have no funny plan, I want to enjoy my life. I have live performances on November 29th and December 1st. Recently, my only enjoyment is drumming or eating or sleeping. I feel exhausted to study. I don't know how I improve my English skills. Of cource, I like English, but I like Chinese rather than English now. Anyway, please come my live. I will play songs written by Oasis and フジファブリック. If you are interested in them, the live would be exciting!

Keeping in Touch

               In fact, I registered mixi before and see it every day. In mixi, I have more than 100 friends, but I don't have friends I've never met before. They all have met me. I don't need friends I don't know. It's because having many friends has some not good points.

               First, cyber- crimes often happen on the Internet. On the Internet, we cannot see the people we keep in touch. We cannot trust the person we talk if we don't know about the person. Next, on the Internet, we can't get to know about the person's real name or real sexuality. We can never define them there. Finally, we can abandon real connection when we depend on the Internet too much. I think it's more important to make actual connection than to do on the Internet.

               You can enjoy on the social community, but you can depend on it easily too. Be careful!

My Ideal Partner

               Honestly, I have never had a girlfriend, and I am not good at communicate with girls. However, I have  an image of the ideal girlfriend. Many people say finally looks are the most important, but I don't care girl's looks very much, though I can't be a boyfriend with the girl with extremely bad appearance. I think there are three important point. First, I like a girl who is kind. I think the kindness is essential, and everyone needs the partner to be that. Second, I want her to smile everytime. You can scare boys without showing your emotions. Finally, it's important to suit each other. I think it's one of the importance to be able to chat happily, but I believe it's more important to be able to be happy without any words.

My Scary Experiences

           I have two scary experiences. One happened when I was the third year student in high school. I visited the Nagano to snowboard. I'm not good at snowboarding well, but it worked well since then. Suddenly, I lost control and went out of the course. I was buried in snow, but I was not hurt. I can't explain well, but I just felt so scared because of the height. Another is a not real experience. When I stayed my friend's house, I watched the horror DVD, called "Paranormal Activity". This movie was literally scared, but I recommend it to everyone. The story is about the poltergeist, and this is like a home-video taken by a family. I can't help screaming. It was getting more and more scary to the last.

My Favorite Season

         It doesn't take a long time for me to answer this question, "Which seasons do you like the best?" I always quickly reply, "I like winter the best." There are many reasons why I choose winter. First of all, I hate sweating. I'm person who perspires heavily, I'm usually annoyed with sweat. For instance, I usually come to school by bicycle, and  need to go up a big and long slope. As a result, my t-shirt is soaked with my sweat, and I hate that! How can I stand it? On the contrary, I can move hardly in winter. I don't dislike to do some sports, so it's better in winter for me. Second, I feel happy when winter come because I like events held in winter, for example, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Valentine. When I was a child, I was always happy to receive a few present. At this time, unfortunately, any have not related to me well. Especially, Valentine' day never make sense for me X-(

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

             My summer vacation was not so exciting. In August, I went nowhere special though, there were a live performance event in my circle which is called "ECHO". The events were called "Utamatsuri", and my band and I practiced every day because my band planned to perform on stage. Besides, I've kept doing my part-time job and I usually work 4 days in a week. Then I was very busy! By the way, we performed The Yellow Monkey, Rosso, and 10-FEET. In September, I went to Tokyo to see my favorite band, "All Time Low". All Time Low is too minor in Japan, so I expected not many people came to see. However, so many people came contrary to my expectation. Despite of tiny live house, the audience extremely get excited. We enjoyed so much, but we were a bit tired. In the second day, we went to Murasaki sports because there was an acoustic live by All Time Low. I took many pictures of them. Another thing I want to tell you is that I saw and talked a little with The Back Horn. They were invited to Murasaki Sports too though, many people only saw All Time Low because they were not a fan of The Back Horn. Finally, I spoke to them and asked them to write autographs. Reviewing my summer vaction now, I think I should have done a lot of studying English!

Summer Vacation!

              Sadly, I feel great lack of my English skills, so I'm going to study English very hard in my summer vacation. However, if I pass my summer vacation only studying English, I waste my green days! I'd like to go out somewhere. I heard Wacky is going to go to London. It would be nice. Let's ask Wacky to bring some souvenir!! By the way, I wonder if I can speak to foreigner when I go abroad. I want to try once!
       I'm going to participate a brass band  contest. We practice hard  and practice takes my time. On July 17th, we have a performance. On July 18th, I have two examination. Does anyone help me? I don't understand especially acounting! My head is about to burst!

Poster Presentation

           I was glad to hear that poster presentation didn't need to memorize. I thought talking without notes is very difficult, but you can take more eye-contact if you talk without notes. In this opinion, Ryosuke's presentation was deeply impressive. He didn't see any notes. He talked about Miyamoto Musashi. I have read the book called 'Vagabond' written by Takehiko Inoue, so I could understand his presentation very well. Also, I was impressed by Rena. I think she is aggressive and good at attracting her presentation. She explained color has various meaning. I have never known that and I enjoyed her presentation! Tomomi and Wacky talked about their favorite movie or drama. I strongly got interested in those, so I'm planning to watch as many foreign movie or drama as possible. Now I watch the foreign drama called 'Friends'. I feel a little improvement of my listening skill. Anyway, there were many impressive presentation but I cannot introduce all. I could see every one's effort. I think all we did the best.

Differences of Opinion

                I know there are some differences of opinion between boys and girls. Sometimes it's said that girls like to be crowd. I think girls strongly feel lonely when she is alone. On the other hand, boys comparatively don't care about it. It's general opinion, but I think there are lots of boys who care about alone. I don't like to be alone. For another example, girls are better at talking than boys. My dear teacher Mr.Marukusu said, "Girls talk using both brains, but boys talk using only left brain. But when boys take in alcohol, boys can talk using both brains." I'm glad to hear that because I'm not good at talking. I'm going to do that when I pass 20 years old. Thanks for Mr.Marukusu!! By the way, it's said that boys are recently getting weaker and girls are getting stronger. I think this opinion is right on target to some degree. What do you think about that?

(Story 1) Continue

It was getting late, and the kids were ready for bed. They kissed their parents goodnight and curled in their beds under the covers. It was a bit chilly, but Molly kept herself covered so that her little feet wouldn't get cold. After a while, her and her little brother Steve were asleep.

Molly started dreaming of a beautiful green park with lots of big trees and berry bushes. She saw herself walking around with her little brother. Then she saw a pair of red shiny boots in the bushes. They looked sparkly new and she thought they were just the size of her cold little feet. "These boots will keep my feet warm" she thought, and when she didn't find anyone in the park she guessed that they didn't belong to anyone.

Molly tried the boots on and they fit perfectly! Her brother thought they looked beautiful on her. Molly stood up and started walking, but all of a sudden, her brother couldn't see her. These boots were magic boots. They made people invisble. Then, a brother felt lonely and started to find his sister. Therefore she took off boots for her brother, then she appeared. Now they understood these boots's effect. " Let's go out of this park, and go home." her brother said. They were coming home, and tried to surprise their parents. She went into house, wearing the boots. Suddenly, she found a girl who had same face and same body of her. She was very very suprised, and scared. "Who is she?" she thought. She pinched her cheek, but she still stayed there. They never escape from this world.

Recent Life

       I am very busy now!!! My part-time job takes my free time and I suffer from a large number of assignments. Furthermore, I belong to a light music circle and a blass band. However, I think I live a full life and it improves me! In a light music circle, I belong to a Pop Punk band named "Two and Three is Five". Pop punk music is a simple but intersting genre. Do you know Green Day or Blink-182? People call they are the founder of Pop Punk. We play a live on 14th or 15th. On the other hand, in a blass band, I play the percussion. I play a variety of percussion instrument, for example, a snare drum, a bass drum, cymbals, a triangle and a tambourine. Do you think playing the tambourine is so easy? Surprisingly, small instruments need precise techniques. Also, the blass band will have a concert on June 26th. I hope you will come.

My family house and the neighborhood around it

          My family house is a solitary house, but it isn't spacioius. There are three floors in my home. The first floor is a dirty garage and a clean bath. Of couse we can park our car there, also we can take a bath. If I want to take a bath, I go down the stairs from the second floor. Sometimes there're cockroaches in garage, and I was alwas scared by them. Therefore I called there "dirty garage". The second floor is a well-lit living room. I always have meals and watch interesting TV programs, so I 'm usually there.  My dear dog Mimi is always there too, so I often played with her. By the way, the dog in picture is not Mimi. Mimi is dirtier than this dog…… Finally, there are a veranda and three rooms in the third room, my room, my sister's room, and a Japanese-style room. My room is shared with my older brother. I feel cramped!

          Next, I tell you my neighborhood. My nearest station is Koushien which is well-known for base ball. I glad to live near the statium. However, I don't like base ball and base ball fans. They often make noise in the night and it makes me irritated. I 'm sick of them!

Where I hope to live in the future

        I hope to live in Toront, which is one of the biggest city in Canada. Why I hope to live? There are many reasons. First, Toront is the most peaceful place in North America. As you know there are some dangerous place in Toront, for instance, Regent Park, Lawrence Heights and Tuxedo Court, but you are safe if you don't approach these places. In fact, the crime rate there has decreased 33% in the last decade. Next, the winter sports are popular in Toront. Unfortunately, skiing and snowboarding is not so popular there, but skating is very popular. You can play skating every place. There are so many place you can skate. Finally, many good, gifted artists in Canada! I give you a well-known example, Avril Lavigne. Also I like SUM 41 & Simple Plan. Anyway, Canada produced many good artists! I hope to go their LIVE once before I die.

Golden Week!!

              During golden week, if I had had free time, I would have gone out. But unfortunately I had to work in Home center Conan Pro, my part-time job. I get nine hundred yen an hour for my part-time work. Contents I have to do is checking out as a cashier, displaying items, and cleaning. (But at a cash counter, I can't check out completely and I usually packing items in shopping bag.) There is one thing I mind. It's that Conan sells a lot kind of items. I have to remember where items are, but I don't remember that. This is a reason why I'm always scolded. I work very hard  there, but it was golden week then, so I was not busy very much. A stuff said that, "People who come here in golden week is always not respectable." But I don't think so. Conan I work is in Imazu. Please come there if you can!!:D (Especially somebody live near the Imazu.) 

A Childhood Memory

        Today I tell you about my childhood memory. When I was a child attending kindergarten, I was a general boy. I liked "Anpanman" and "A locomotive Thomas" very much. Especially I liked "A Locomotive Thomas" and I gathered toys of the locomotive. I like the locomotive, but I dislike the train. I think it's mysterias when I look back now. Anyway, I liked the locomotive only. And I liked the Ranger series, like "Kakuranger". My favorite character was "Ninja Brack(Jiraiya)". Also, I liked the video game. In those days, "The Legend of Zelda" was popular among us, and we often played Zelda gokko. My favorite exercises were "horizontal bar", "climbing bar" and "rope jump". I often played with them.

What I like about Japan

            Let me tell you about my favorite things in Japan. First, there are many foods I like in Japan. I like rice ball very much. Especially, rice ball with miso soup is so delicious! The miso soup is my favorite Japanese foods too. Also, a lot of delicious foods exist in Japan. For example, sushi, zoni, osechi, and so on. Second, there are many places I like in Japan. I tell you about an example, Osakajo is one of the most beautiful spot in Japan. The old castle in Japan is very interesting. When I was a child, I moved by Osakajo, and cherry blossoms around it are so beautiful, especially in April. Finally, I like the spirit of Japan. Japanese is so modesty. Sometimes we said as unclear people, but I think it has many good points.

About Me

                My name is Yuya Yokosho. I'm 18 years old. I was born in Hyogo, and I live in Nishinomiya. I have one older brother and a younger sister. I also have a dog and her name is “Mimi”. I love her very much. I was a student of Kwansei Gakuin High School, and now I'm a student of Kwansei Gakuin University. I'm in the school of International studies. By the way, my old brother is a student of the school of Business Administration. I belonged to the blass band club, and my part is percussion. So I can play the drums. I can play the piano too. I love the music. My favorite music group is BUMP OF CHICKEN, but I want to able to listen Western music. I practice English every day to master it. I recommend to use English Central. You will have a lot of fun!
